Modesto Garden Club – Spring Garden Tour
On Sat. April 18, 2026 the Modesto Garden Club, Inc. will host the annual Spring Garden Tour. The Modesto Garden Club hosted its first Spring Garden Tour in 1932 with three gardens. This year the club hosts five self-touring gardens on Sat., April 18th from 10am to 4pm. Tickets are $25 and children 11 years and under are free.
TICKETS: $25 tickets can be purchased at the Modesto Garden Club (MGC) office each Wednesday from 9-12noon until the tour. Tickets are also available at the Morris Nursery, The Paper Habit, Suite 52 Living, Farmers Daughter, Fresh Idea Flower Co. , Thompson’s Building Supply & Nursery, Westurf Nursery, the Greenery Nursery, and online through VENMO or ModestoGardenClub.org. Tickets are available for purchase on the day of the tour at each garden location.
GARDENS: Our five Modesto, California gardens incorporate an assortment of ideas, plants and focus.
They are homeowner maintained by enthusiastic and knowledgeable home gardeners. Prepare to be wowed by an incredible range of sights. Gardens range from a variety of 30 avocado trees, plants and with a rock stream, succulents planted in cameras and typewriters, a driveway of persimmons, a garden brimming with unique trees, shrubs, flowers and waterfall, plus a classic English cottage garden. REFRESHMENTS are served at the MGC garden and attendees can purchase tickets to win RAFFATUNITY items at the club’s garden.

1) Kimberly Spina at 6437 Covert Rd.;
2) Evangelina & John Paoluccio at 4801 Quinturn Lane;
3) Jennifer & Troy Wright at 1600 Pristine Court;
4) Garrett Vick at 1829 1114 Brady Ave.; and
5) The Modesto Garden Club Office at 622 14th Street. All tours take place outside in the garden.
FUNDS: Funds from the Spring Garden Tour make it possible for the Modesto Garden Club to continue its 100+ year focus on urban beautification an preservation of green spaces. Proceeds support scholarships for college bound horticulture and landscape students, planting the Aileen Gallo Memorial Clock, planting flower pots in the downtown area and Gallo Center for the Arts, maintaining the Senior Citizens center garden, school and therapeutic gardens, and over a dozen additional philanthropic endeavors.
