Stanislaus County Gives Thanks!
The Stanislaus County Interfaith Council invites you to our 24th annual Thanksgiving event. Typically, one of our local faith communities hosts the event, and participating congregations sing a song, play a musical piece, share a reading, or another faith based performance. Several hundred people come every year to enjoy this celebration of thanks. This year, we are reinventing the entire event and plan to involve our whole community. Like everything else these days, we are looking at this with fresh, physically-distant eyes. On Sunday, November 22nd at 5pm, we will have the 24th annual Interfaith Thanksgiving event. The event will be an online screening of a brand new video: “Stanislaus County Gives Thanks!”
It will feature short video clips from the many faith communities, county departments, local businesses, school groups, performers, chefs, civic leaders, and any other members of our community who would like to share how they give thanks.
Bring your own popcorn!
Please join us, and be prepared to be inspired!
