Hola hola Modesto and the surrounding 209 cities, Chepa’s Kid Comedy is back at The State on July 6th! Are you ready to have a fun night out with the family? Glory Magaña will be bringing her funny friends who will be not only funny, but wholesome and better yet, Believers in Christ! Clean comedy will be presented on this night.
Hosting is Shea Suga, she stands as one of the most adored and closely followed comediennes in the Bay Area and has been on Sherri Shepherd’s “LAUGH LOUNGE” segment and touring alongside industry heavyweights like Luenell. Featuring will be Glory Magaña who just recently performed in the “Netflix is a Joke Comedy Festival” at The Laugh Factory in Hollywood. And finally, our headliner for the night is Dennis Gaxiola, he is one of America’s funniest clean comedians with 25 national TV appearances, two viral Drybar comedy specials, and has toured with The Latin Kings of Comedy. Shea was born in the vibrant city of Phoenix, Arizona! At the age of 10, Shea embarked on a new chapter as her family relocated to Richmond, California; laying the groundwork for her future in comedy. Shea now stands as one of the most adored and closely followed comediennes in the Bay Area. She has conquered numerous comedy competitions, clinching 2nd place in the esteemed “U Better Be Funny Competition” in her hometown of Phoenix. From there, her star ascended, gracing the stage on Sherri Shepherd’s “LAUGH LOUNGE” segment and touring alongside industry heavyweights like Luenell. Shea has shared the spotlight with icons such as DL Hughley, Tommy Davidson, Bruce Bruce, Earthquake, and Lavell Crawford, leaving audiences in stitches with her captivating blend of engaging storytelling and razor-sharp one-liners.

Glory was born to entertain! As the youngest of 15 there was never a dull moment or a night without an audience! Glory started her career in 2012 at The Purple Onion in San Francisco, CA; the same stage where Phyllis Diller and Richard Pryor paved their way to fame. She’s made her way around California performing in the best funny spots such as Cobb’s Comedy Club, San Francisco Punchline, Tommy Ts in Pleasanton, Sacramento Punchline, the Icehouse in Pasadena, the Laugh Factory in Long Beach and Hollywood, The Comedy Store, and in San Diego at The Mad House Comedy Club & The Mic Drop. Glory has resided in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and lastly, New York. While living in the Big Apple she was able to share the stage with Jessica Kirson and Cipha Sounds at The Stand NYC, as well as perform at The New York Comedy Club. Glory was so blessed to be a part of the Netflix is a Joke Fest in Hollywood while performing for the well-known Chocolate Sundaes show at The Laugh Factory. She has also performed in Canada and Mexico! You’ll be sure to have fun watching her animated presence on stage!
