MARIACHI LOS CAMPEROS

Join us for a special Dia de Los Muertos-themed show by three-time Grammy Award winner Mariachi Los Camperos! This legendary troupe was founded in 1961 by the late Jose Natividad “Nati” Cano Ruiz. Mr. Cano played a fundamental role in the growth of mariachi music in the United States by training and mentoring new generations of musicians. This mariachi giant was a visionary leader who wanted to take the mariachi performance out of customary locations such as cantinas and into concert halls.  That vision was fulfilled, and over its 59-year history Mariachi Los Camperos has recorded and performed with artists including Pedro Fernandez, Linda Ronstadt, Pepe Aguilar, Angeles Ochoa, Luis Miguel and many more.  The company today is led by musical director Jesus “Chuy” Guzman.
