“We’re closing Summer by bringing Off The Air back! After a couple long months of humming air conditioners, we’re launching a whole new season of OFF THE AIR shows in new places with music so good, it’ll buoy us a little higher than oughta be allowed! On August 29th, three bands bring stories that don’t hype for attention—they just unfold. A back patio venue, a cheap beer, and the kind of music that knows how to leave space.”

• Sylvan Improvement – From the ashes of Built Like Alaska, Neil Jackson and friends (Good Luck Thrift Store Outfit, Grandaddy) bring rural grit and California warmth to brand-new rock songs from their upcoming 2025 debut.

• LoPi – Oakland’s Alex Miner delivers intimate, experimental folk-pop vignettes from their 2024 release Now Is Truer Music—fragile, shifting, and full of quiet beauty.

• Completions – Cellist/producer Shawn Alpay (Father John Misty, Laura Stevenson, Whitney) shares songs from his acclaimed LP I Needed Help, exploring connection, healing, and the art of letting others in.
