Turlock Melon Carnival

We are bringing back the Turlock Melon Carnival (which was first hosted downtown in 1911) . It will be September 20th & 21st in Turlock Downtown. Friday, September 20th will kick off with the Melon Queens pageant. We will have delicious BBQ and live music with dancing on Main Street to live music. Saturday, September 21st will kick off with the traditional Kiddy Kaper Parade down East Main Street to the stage to kick off the event. There will be melon related contests and music throughout the day on our two stages. Try your luck at Carnival Row (fundraisers for PTO’s & Nonprofits). Of course Farmers Market will be happening and concluding with an ag equipment show. Learn how to line dance or square dance
