Created by local restaurants with your health & safety in mind
Look for the MoRESTAURANT Certified shield for Modesto Restaurants that have committed to serving you and supporting their staff based upon these standards
On May 20th the California Department of Public Health allowed restaurants in Stanislaus County to open based upon Cal-OSHA and CDC guidelines. To see that attestation, please click HERE.
In preparation, the restaurant community of Modesto recently created their own standards with the intent to exceed OSHA, State, Federal and CDC guidelines. This was done in consideration of your safety and confidence as you begin to go out in our community and participate in the local economy. Beginning June 1, 2020 the owners of each MoRESTAURANT Certified facility have agreed to the standards you will find here and ask that you communicate with them or send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org should you have any questions or comments on the implementation of this program
These guidelines are in place wherever you see a MoRESTAURANT Certified shield above posted. In the draft flyer you can download on this page are the new guidelines you will see in place at participating restaurants when open for dining. This effort was done in cooperation with restaurant owners in Modesto, Visit Modesto and the Mayor’s Office at The City of Modesto.
