While there are several stories surrounding this epic festival, the common representations are goodbye winter, hello spring, triumph of good over evil, reset & renew ruptured relationships, end conflicts and rid oneself of accumulated emotional impurities from the past. This free event showcases the kaleidoscope of heritages from our local area. Festival guests travel worldwide, enjoying unique music, food, dance, and children’s crafts from around the world. Kids can explore a variety of countries and cultures, collect stamps and stickers, and have fun learning about geography, history, music, and art.
