GROUP TRAVEL

Enjoy live theater at the Prospect Theater Project or experience The Gallo Center for the Arts. Take a day trip to Yosemite National Park, just 90 miles from downtown Modesto. If you don’t want to travel, relax and shop at Central California’s largest indoor shopping mall at Vintage Faire Mall in North Modesto.
FAMILY TRAVEL
The whole family will enjoy greater Modesto. Take the Almond Blossom Cruise (seasonal) or Ag Cruise to let the family learn that fresh fruits and veggies don’t originate in the produce aisle at the local grocery store! BUSINESS TRAVEL
Take a client or your business associates to a ballgame with the Modesto Nuts and reserve box seat right behind home plate. Stop at one of the Ag Stands we have listed to pick up gifts for your clients before visiting. Grab lunch in downtown with a client or take them to Grub Hubs for a variety of Food Truck option. Take a client or your business associates to a show at the Gallo Center for the Arts, the Prospect Theater (live theater) or the State Theatre for live music. Grab an incredible dinner with eclectic wine at one of Modesto’s local gourmet restaurants.
OUTDOORS LOVERS
Kayak or canoe the Tuolumne River or Raft the Stanislaus…especially in the beginning of November to watch the salmon spawn! Run, walk, or hike the Dry Creek Trail – over six miles of paved trails on the creek just outside of downtown – or the Virginia Trail a converted railway line. Trail Ride the Tuolumne River Trail, home to the NorCal Cycling races along the Tuolumne River just outside of downtown. Take a metric century on your road bike riding between almond orchards, over covered bridges, along rivers and in rolling hills. Bring your fly gear and hit the lower Sierras for some brook trout or haul your OHV and hit the trails outside of town.
COUPLES FROM NINE TO NINETY-NINE
Plan a night cruising the brew pubs of downtown or see a show at the Gallo Center for the Arts. Check out the authentic Mexican Food scene in Modesto and swing by Crows Landing for a taste of the ‘real thing’. Put on your boots and dance to love music at Fresca Cantina in downtown and be sure to try your skill on the mechanical bull! For a little romance and fine cuisine make reservations on the terrace at Redwood Café by the fire or try Galleto’s in downtown and dine on the patio by the fireplace.
